The Dawn of Creation: The First 2 Billion Years

(Regrettable title if you ask me)

This is a lecture by Steven Beckwith (Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, University of California, Office of the President). He describes the current cosmological models in supreme detail and explains why we "know" what we "know". This video is a must for anyone wanting to discover the cosmos!

As you all have probably noticed I spend a great deal of time learning about these things, informally, and I still took a great deal of information from this lecture. The way he presented Hubble's discovery of linear expansion and contrasted it with interim observations to show that this expansion was actually curved (accelerating) was superb!
